The EIP European Technology Platform Stakeholder Event
 Last month, WssTP was pleased to host jointly the European Innovation Partnership's stakeholder event for European Technology Platforms. This included contribution from platforms such as SusChem (the platform for Sustainable Chemistry), the Forestry ETP, Eniac (the Nanotechnology platform), and EURATEX (the platform for textiles) amongst many others.
We were also pleased to see a large presence from both the European Commission and industrial participants. The object of the stakeholder event was to see how the European Technology Platforms could contribute towards and help shape the European Innovation Partnership on water.
The day long event was highly productive, and included comprehensive presentations from the other European Technology Platforms. Details of presentations, those involved, the results and an analysis of the event will follow this week on our website, so keep your eyes peeled!

NEW: Water Quality
WssTP is very pleased to present its eight scientific publication.
This report on “Water treatment” is based the results of the FP6 funded project TECHNEAU. It shows the capacity and will of WssTP to establish close collaboration with other key EU projects on major water challenges for research and innovation.
Addressing newly emerging pollutants and pathogens; Need to exploit new water resources; Improving energy efficiency and sustainability... Here is some of the challenges addressed by the publication.
