The Urban pilot identified 7 challenges:

Managing rain events and flooding in urban areas. The Sub group already produced a report sent to the European Commission.

Asset management for sustainable urban water. The Sub group already produced a report sent to the European Commission.

Alternative water resources. The Sub group already produced a report sent to the European Commission.

Sustainable Sludge management in urban areas. The Sub group already produced a report sent to the European Commission.

Monitoring and sensors. This Sub group has contributed to create a Task Force in 2009.

Water Treatment. This Sub group is working with TECHNEAU, European Funded Project related to this topic.

Pollution Control. This theme has to be further developed.
