Our Vision       WssTP, a common vision for European Water Innovation   By 2030, the European water sector will be a leading centre of expertise for providing safe, clean, affordable and sustainable water and sanitation. We will have made significant and measurable contributions to the Millennium Development Goals. The WssTP will  meet global challenges and regional demands to ensure water and sanitation services.

A long-term vision document has been created, that includes:

• Integrated management of water ressources and water infrastructure

• Balanced water uses preserving aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem.

• Uses of alternative ressources, recovery and re-use of water.

• Reduced detrimental health effect of water-based emissions.

• Water quality monitoring.

• Risk management in the water-cycle.

A Vision Document and a Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) has been produced, addressing the numerous visionary targets.
