Identify future research needs and future challenges from fundamental research to implementation projects.

Deliver research and strategic vision and produce evidence-based reports on water research.

Set up and provide outcomes to European Research Programmes for the water sector. Identification of key questions through the WssTP is seriously taken into account for European programming in several instruments, including the European Commission´s most recent Framework Programme, FP7.

Contribute to the implementation of the SRA by joining the pilot activities.
